Far away in a little town in the North Pole lived a rather large man who dressed in a red suit with white fluffy bits around the edges. He had white hair and a long white beard that covered
his mouth and most of his mouth and chest.
This large man is known all over the world by many different names, such as, Father Christmas,
Santa Claus, Chris Cringle and many more names, although he preferred Santa.
Santa has a very special job, he and his helpers make thousands of toys throughout the year to give to children on Christmas Eve ready to open on Christmas Day.
His helpers too were known all over the world. They were not normal people, the Elves when fully grown were the same size as an eight year old child.
The Elves would help Santa make the toys and look after the flying reindeer that help Santa deliver the toys to the children on Christmas Eve.
This year started the same as normal, toys were being made by the Elves. Mrs. Claus was checking the naughty and nice list for the first time, whilst Santa would be reading the letters that all of the children had sent to him before Christmas.
What noone knew was that Santa’s twin brother Tony was hiding outside.
The year passed as quick as normal and, as quick as anyone knew it, it was the night before Christmas.
Tonight, however, was the night Tony was desperate to spoil Christmas. He was always jealous of his brother. He had a plan to spoil Christmas for ever. When Santa got up, Tony was going to
switch places with him and deliver coal to the children instead of the presents.
All of the toys were now made and wrapped and they were being loaded onto the
sleigh.
Tony’s plan took place as soon as Santa awoke and went to the closet to get his suit. Tony grabbed hold of him and pushed him into the closet. By putting on Santa’s suit he was able to fool the Elves into thinking he was Santa.
As normal the toys were loaded onto the sleigh, but, what the Elves didn’t know was that Tony had switched the toys with coal. When the sleigh was loaded Tony ordered Rudolph and the other reindeer to set off.
However, Rudolph knew that something was not right when Santa started to order the reindeer to slow down. Rudolph knew that Santa would never tell them to slow down. Santa had always said that the kids relied on him to bring the toys quickly and safely. Santa would never let them down.
Rudolph, trusting his instincts, slowly turned the sleigh around without Tony realizing, bound back for the North Pole.
Back at the North Pole, the real Santa had managed to break free . He rushed to alert the elves of the Reindeer’s return having been alerted, by the elves, to the fact that Tony had already left with what he had thought was the toys.
When Santa arrived in the barn he found all of the toys scattered around the place.
With the reindeer gone he hadn’t known what to do. He had sat in the corner of the barn feeling sad and deflated, when, all of a sudden, he heard his brother shouting at Rudolph to turn back around.
The sleigh finally landed in the barn and the elves dragged Tony out of the sleigh and sent him to the North Pole Prison and the real Santa and the reindeer set off to deliver the real toys to the children all over the world.
