Hide and Go Seek in Halloween Town

By Katherine Hammond

Halloween comes only one night a year. It lasts only a few hours, in this time children go out in the dark dressed as witches, ghosts and vampires and other scary things connected to Halloween.

All over the world people enjoy the night in which they can go trick or treating in exchange for treats such as sweets and many other goodies.

However, this happens every day in Halloween Town. Ghosts, witches, vampires and other ghouls that live in the little town, they don’t trick or treat on every friend or family member in the little town, they travel around and scare little children all over the world.

The people of Halloween Town hide in the wardrobes, under the beds and anywhere else they can possibly hide in a child’s bedroom. When they had found the perfect place, they sat and waited for the children to come in. All that was left to do then was to wait for the perfect moment to jump out and scare them.

It was a long and a boring wait at first, but as it got later and the children were in bed it got faster. They would quietly sneek up to the edge of the bed, tap the sleeping child until they awoke and shout BOOO. As soon as they got a loud scream they went off to the next child. This was their life.

Remember the next time your child screams in the middle of

the night and tells you about the monster, it may be someone

from Halloween Town.
